Biography
Respected French DJ and producer, Thomas Arroyo aka Laroye is a works across a variety of different genres as a producer and songwriter. His own artist project also shows a range of diversity - from his early days of broken beat on Faces Records and MCDE, through to funk and boogie under his Qwestlife moniker on Glitterbox & Midnight Riot.
2019 started with a prolific studio period, shifting out EP’s across labels such as Visions, Magic Black, Clima & Tiff’s Joints, as well as producing with artists like Honey Dijon & Horse Meat Disco. Laroye’s music receives continuous radio rotation on Worldwide FM & BBC6, and has gained DJ support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Ron Trent, Mr Scruff, Rainer Truby, Laurent Garnier, Skream & Jimpster. The third Qwestlife single ‘Fever’, will be dropping on Glitterbox later this year. It is a straight up party rocker and features hip-hop legends The Sugarhill Gang, Melle Mel and Grammy award winner Siedah Garret.
