Tino Piontek pka Purple Disco Machine is arguably one of the most successful contemporary disco and house producers of his generation. As Beatport’s all time #2 most successful artist the Dresden born and raised Piontek has already racked up an astonishing 170 million streams across his own releases and remixes.
Previously recording for labels such as Defected, OFF, Spinnin’ Deep and Kittball his debut album Soulmatic’ on Sweat It Out Records / Sony Music has achieved 65million+ streams, spawning 2 radio hit singles in ‘Devil In Me’ and ‘Body Funk’.
While not on that Album, a later single ‘Dished (Male Stripper)’ became one of 2018’s biggest summer club and radio anthems. 2019 will see the launch of PDM’s second album beginning with new single ‘Emotion’.
Alongside his solo recording career PDM has a stellar CV of remixes to his name with the likes of Calvin Harris, Foals, Jax Jones, RUFUS DU SOL, Fatboy Slim, Weiss, Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, New Order, Two Door Cinema Club, Hercules & Love Affair and many more benefiting from his touch.
