Honey Dijon

Biography

Born and raised in Chicago, later moving to New York, and now residing mostly in Berlin, Honey Dijon has been present for many of the critical cultural moments in the evolution of dance music, including the rise of house culture in Chicago and its diversification in New York. She has become a bona fide staple in both the fashion world and serious electronic music circles since she started dancing at clubs as a teenager in Chicago during its halcyon days of house music, when legends like Frankie Knuckles and Derrick Carter were spinning. From playing at underground institutions such as Berlin's Panorama Bar, to her collaborations with Kim Jones of Dior, Dijon has managed to gracefully bridge the worlds of fashion and music without compromising her deep connection to underground culture.

Redefining what it is to be a DJ in 2022, last year Honey’s production capabilities have been enlisted by the upper echelon of musicians, producing two records for Beyonce’s chart-topping album Renaissance and remixing lead single ‘Break My Soul’. Now unapologetically expressing her own sound on her brand new album Black Girl Magic, she unveils the next chapter of her development as a producer and songwriter.
